Marks the beginning of my exploration into domestic violence and the unsettling nature of gradual change. Each piece began as a bare porcelain structure and, through many firings, was slowly covered, layer by layer, with materials and flower- like forms, symbols of control drawn from my own experience of being watched, tracked, and silenced.
